So...once again its been a while since my last blog. I got my wisdom teeth removed on Thursday, so I havent been to ceramics since last Wednesday :( My teapot is all put together. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Im not sure how I will glaze it. I tried using the spray glaze on a cup. I am anxious to see how it turned out. I put my plate in the glaze kiln on wednesday. Hopefully, it looks nice. I have two other projects to glaze as well.

So, its been a while since my last post. I've done a lot since then! I am in the process of finishing my teapot. I just have to make sure the spout that I made today fits because the last three havent worked. I really like it and hope it turns out nicely. I've made some other projects as well.

I have been having such a good clay week. I footed my plate, I made a huge mug, and I made a really nice vase. The only thing I dont like that much is the handle on my cup. I would like it to attach at the top and base of the project, but whenever I add handles, they seem to end up in the middle. Overall, I like the mug, though.

Happy Easter yesterday :) Friday, I made a plate. I reallly like it. It is a lot bigger than the other projects I have made. I especially like the lip. Im excited to glaze it! Today, I made a large cylinder. It is a lot bigger than my other projects, too. It has a slight lip and a small belly. I plan on making it a big mug!

So, I've done a lot since spring break. I found a few of my projects on the bisque shelf that I had forgotten about. I glazed one of my bowls with the new turquoise and white. I like the color combonation. I am currently glazing another bowl with one of the dark blues and shadow green. I hope it will nice. Yesterday, I had a great clay day! I centered in like five seconds, and pulled up smoothly and ended making a lidded project. Im excited to see how it turns out.

So far, spring break has been great :) On friday, three of my projects came out of the glaze kiln. I took six projects home. I like my two plates and the cylinder I brought home. I also like the glaze on the bowls I brought home. The extra project did not turn out well, but thats okay.

This week I made a bowl. I really like the shape of it. I also, found a project of mine that I forgot I had made, so that brings me to a total of six projects to glaze. Today, I glazed my two small bowls. They are both turquoise matt, shadow green, and celedon with all the colors overlapping a little bit. Im interested to see how they turn out.

Today, I made a cylinder. Yesterday, I made a small cylinder that I plan to make into a cup. Lately when I throw, I have been forgetting to pull out to make a bowl, so I keep ending up with cylinders. Hopefully, tomorrow I won't forget!

Lately, I've been helping the noobs learn to throw, so I haven't had much time to throw myself. But I did manage to make a couple of small bowls. I have around 5 projects to bisque.

Today, I made a soft slab plate. I couldn't throw anything because I didnt want it to dry out over break. The plate is round. I pinched the sides and printed small fingerprints all over. It looks almost like a pie crust. I dont know if I like it or not.
