This is a small, oblong shaped bowl. While throwing, the project formed this oblong shape, which I happened to like. It has a smooth texture. Half is dipped in matte turquoise. The other half is dipped in cobalt blue. The blue and turquoise mix together in the middle where they overlap, creating a dark almost black color. The shiny cobalt blue and the matte turquoise show juxtaposition in the project. The mixing in the middle of the glazes 

This is a small bowl. It is flared out at the lip. A chemical solution was painted on the outside of the project and then the walls were pulled out slightly to create the cracks on the outside. The whole project was dipped in clear. It was a little thick, so it crawled on the the project. The cracks add interest to the simple shape of the project.
